FYI. The Semi Sub "Stena Clyde" working off Barrow Island Western Australia suffered a major fire in the engine room on the night of 20th October 2007. No injuries sufferd. A good job containing it by the fire crew!! The rig will probably be out of action for quite some time as major refits are needed throughout the entire engine room, 30 years of wiring etc to nut out. Im sure you will all see a saftey alert once NOPSA has got their hands on things.

That’s one way to get the orifice to sanction a major refit 😆

Glad nobody was injured, and yes, insurance backed refits are very nice indeed! 😈

Sounds terrible. Good to see no major injuries.
