    Hi!

If there are any budding ROV instructors out there, or if you’ve done this sort of thing before, The Underwater Centre have a vacancy for an ROV Instructor. This position would suit an experienced ROV instructor, pilot/tech. or supervisor looking to enjoy an onshore lifestyle whilst remaining involved in the subsea industry and working as part of a motivated and knowledgeable team of instructors.

This is a permanent position, based at The Underwater Centre in Fort William, and includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

If you’re interested in this position or would like to discuss this opportunity further, please get in touch. See my profile for email address.

    Regards

    Dougie Ormiston

Dougie my son, you have just landed yourself a little bute here, I’m yer man. I have 2 years ROV experience, prior to this I was a hairdresser-none of your barber shit either, which will come in handy. I am short, fat and have a little goatie beard. I just dont fit in offshore so I am desperate for a job onshore.I am well travelled and have loads of photos to show the students during class time, I know they will be paying £25 an hour (each) for my time, I am willing to wear a FW tshirt 24/7.
I will have to insist that all students are strongly discouraged from drinking alcohol on an evening and must study hard to pass the taxing exams we will be giving them.

    PS. I am a fanny

i would love this job! unfortunately i am a bit busy just now!

however i would like to point out…

NO FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE UNDERWATER CENTRE!!

apparently a "student" bought a air rifle and shot the *hit out of the local duck population 🙂 so no guns!!

or perhaps it in case the students dont walk straight in to a "top job" and the owners are a bit wary of a "student" turning in to a sniper and picking off the staff as they arrive when they have found out they MIGHT not walk in to the land of milk and honey straight away?

anybody want to buy a flak jacket?
