Just finished an ROV course at Fort William and am looking for work. Have eight years North Sea Sat diving experience and twenty years civils diving experience. Lots of logged inspection hours. Anybody have any ideas? I’m currently in Aberdeen.
Do some short electrical, electronic or hydraulic courses maybe through Aberdeen College while you are looking.
You need to get some of these qualifications on your CV to stand a chance.
Consider applying for base tech jobs as well to increase hands on technical experience and maybe get a foot in the door with a company that runs ROVs.
