    Hi All,

Can any of you guys help with some material DVDs, CDs, or recomend a couple of good books that i could buy on Hydraulics

I am at a fairly basic level, i have received some material from the Oceaneering training modules, but am looking for somemore to read up on.

I was hoping to get somemore info on the types of different fittings that systems use.

Does one system keep to a particular type of hydraulic fitting, or do they use several on the same system. I guess it is down to where and who the system is manufactured by. Thanks

There’s lots of good stuff on the net free. I found most of my favourites from this web site and rons rov links.

there used to be an excellent site by a guy called rob vanderbrink but i can’t find that anymore.Hydraulics supermarket has some good stuff. Plus the us navy and fluid power manuals can be down loaded ( i think? that’s where i got them from?)

for my money i always tell guys to check out the sun hyds web site. These are the catridges that perry always use. (sun)
At the start of each section ie: pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, counter balance valves etc. there are the most excellent (and concise) explanations of the function of each valve and a couple of typical circuit diagrams showing a typical use. best of all it’s all free
