Do anyone know what Oceaneering Canada’s day rate is for a rov trainee and a rov operator/technician working on Canada’s East Coast ?

I believe that you’ll find that the boys and girls in the GOM are on porta-potty pay as well…. I think it’s a case of being totally out of touch with the industry outside their borders (if it ain’t red, white, and blue – I doan gaff!!). Reading websites help dunit???

I’m currently not working with them.I was just wondering if anyone knows what salary one would expect to receive if hired by Oceaneering and working in this location.(East Coast-Hibernia )I’m sure someone out there can provide an answer.Thanks.

It was $270 CDN / day for trainee when I last worked for them about a year ago. I believe a PT was about $325.

Oceaneering are notoriously good at paying bad rates worldwide. Don’t expect too much from them.

Were you working at the Hibernia site on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland at that time and were you based out of St. John’s,NL ? This is the area I am interested in getting started in ,if the opportunity arises.
