DMT in GOM ? Does anybody out there know anything about the company? Good? Bad? Pay? How many ROVs they have?

Hi D,

Google ‘DTM offshore’, that should provide enough news and company links for you to get the low down on the company.

You can also check out the Rates Chart under the ‘ROV Pay Rates’ board, this will give you an idea of the most recently received pay scales.

As for the rest of the info, you would need guys who have worked for them to reply on what they are like to work for!

They use Perry Slingsby Triton XLS ROV, not sure how many they got. See here

I have heard that they are going under here in the GOM, but you need to look into that yourself. I do know that their two vessel The Diamond and Emerald hasn’t been working that much. But the rumors can fly with ROV hands, we’re good at that.

I’m currently offshore with Technip on Deep Blue, and we have been using DMT Emerald to do jobs here and there. On board the Emerald they have 2 x XLS’s. We’ve just started to head back to port, so don’t know what they are up to at the moment, they just seem to be around when we need them.

I was on the DMT Diamond a couple years back as the Client Rep. for Anadarko/Independence Hub Project in the GOM. DMT guys were top notch and many were former Sonsub Houston.

The guys that got on with them early received stock and an outstanding profit sharing/bonus scheme. I can’t comment on their recent activities, but everyone I know that went with them years ago were very satisfied.
