All four region codes have now been replaced with one country code.

Inmarsat now has its own country code – +870 – which automatically routes the caller to the Inmarsat customer regardless of which Inmarsat Ocean Region the terminal is located – i.e. anywhere in the world.

From 1 January 2009, the +870 Inmarsat country code must be used for dialling all Inmarsat numbers. The four Inmarsat ocean region codes – +871, +872, +873 and +874 – have been withdrawn and will no longer connect callers to Inmarsat user terminals.

In the unlikely event you experience any problems dialling the +870 country code, please contact the Inmarsat Customer Care Helpline on + 44 (0) 20 7728 1030.
