Okay , So it was the Oil company BP that owns the plot.
Is it Naivity to think that the Company responsible for this mess is the drilling company. The American Government blames the oil company but it was the Drilling company that supplied their method statement -come expertise in drilling "Of many years" to extract it.

If you own a ship but employ contractors to run it and the vessel hits a reef due to bad navigation,Is it the Ship owners fault ?
I think Transocean should be the ones paying for this or go half way. Maybe…………. Toolpushers "Pushing"’ the job to "Get the job done ASAP ? We all know what happens on a rig ( Jack-up or Semi ) when it comes to Regulations/safety Schedule.

BP have to take the Blame, if they did not who would assume responsibility at this stage of the game. However I am sure that in time we will find that one or several of the sub contractors have made a big mistake.
And if that is the case they will sue the crap out of those responsible.
