Just having a look at a course from aberdeen university (that’s aberdeen scotland, home of dandy dons). They are advertising a masters qualification in subsea engineering.

It’s rather bloody expensive, and frankly I don’t think it’s not exactly a transferrable qualification but could any of the project engineers, managers out there, make some reccomendations or guidance? Is it worthwhile, or is it just another "fashionable" tranining qualification? I don’t know anyone in the states with this qualification as it seems to be UK-offered only.

Does it hold any mustard when compared to a chartered engineer/chartered physicist qualification?

Yes, Ive been looking at this qualification too. From the criteria, just wandering if this would lead to project manager, client rep etc.

Good thing about it is it can be done online.
