Does anyone know if we need a UKOOA and and OLF medical for work in the Norweigan sector of the North Sea? Also, do you know if a UKOOA Med is accepted in the Norweigan sector of the North Sea?
The OGUK medical was carried out in Aberdeen, UK. The Norwegian cert was issued at the same place.
There are a number of doctors able to carry out medicals to Norwegian offshore standards (OLF).
I took one once in Malta. As for the USA, I have no idea.
No worries. I would guess that if you are in the USA and you are being offered work in Norway you should pre book a medical to be taken on arrival in Norway.. or transit in via the UK and take a UKOG medical and get the OLF cert issued at the same time.
