Apologies if I sound flippant, but why not email a Seabotix distributor and ask them.. better still email a couple and see if there is any play in there.

I could do that but they will probably pass it on to the closest distributor in my area.. I was just curious of the price difference in US compared with Europe.

The base system is around $39-$40K USD. Of course that doesn’t include repairs, shipping, taxes etc… that you will be charged for.

Thanks! The difference was less that I thought. Only about 10% lower than the local price. Then it is no reason to bypass the local Seabotix "pusher" 🙂

SPIPP – From what I understand the US price of the 200m SeaBotix ROV package is ~$36K with a standard 2 year warranty. Charged for shipping & taxes…? When shipping is "free", it just means is that the shipping considerations have already been worked into the profit margins of the item raising the overall price for everyone whether you need shipping or not. Taxes, that is up to you as an American Citizen whether you cheat on your taxes or not. Taxes are usually only “charged” if you live in the same US State as the origin of the item you are purchasing.
