New Poll?

I’ve always aimed at doing around 140days a year and have built my lifestyle around that, a couple of years I’ve done more 160-180, the least was last year around 108. To date I’ve done around 72 with another 28 days coming up which takes me into August then a probable 60 days more after that up to the end of the year taking me just over my 140 and topping up for last year. If everyone does 180 days or less then we all get a bite at the cherry.

I know how you feel Silicon some guys can come straight off one job and onto the next .
These guys dont want to go on the sticks and love being on the winch also there not very good tecs but like Scott says golden kneepads + extra-strength KY Jelly….

But the way things are at the moment its not going to change over night and I can see this going on for some time .
But its hard to believe there are so many experienced guys out there still looking and its peak season now .Most companys have there crews back to back now so the only work your pick up if any will be the odd short job here and there .

I have a feeling many will still be here this time next year .

Of all the careers I’ve done so far, ROVs I have enjoyed the most : what a DAMN pity : I’ve been at it since Feb 2005 but I am being forced to look for a different career entirely : I have been at home since the 7th of Jan this year : charming / exciting : yes, I know. (And still nothing on the horizon)
