Morning Gents, off the top of your heads whats the current price for full bosiet and medical. Is Nutec still the cheapest?

I think I got charged of the order of 150 quid for the FOET (further offshore….), and then another 100 for the medical – but whilst we are talking about this sort of stuff, a quick reminder to all our chaps working in the North Sea. I was sent some emails last week – apparently you now also need a mandatory test paper now called an "MIST". It’s being run by Atlas Interactive. I think it’s minimum safety training standards….

65 quid online, takes a while though. Don’t get caught out !!

Yeah don’t get caught out paying £65 for something you don’t NEED. I’ve never done it, I’m sure there’s lots of others on here who have never done it, we are still working offshore.

I think I still have a copy of the disk somewhere, some of our guys did it a few years back, its been talked about you MUST have it but its still never happened.

ah ok, well i was told the grace period ended in jan. It could be operator specific, you know how it is, but I was told it wasn’t up for discussion.

Doesn’t bother me, we don’t take the hit on it anyway. Just a pain hammering away on a computer screen for an hour or so.

£630 + vat. Bosiet. They (nutec) are pumping this MIST carry on at a "discounted price" of £160 + vat (normal price £319 +vat). I think not.

this is the course for experienced personnel….. e-learning. 65 nuggets.

This ‘MIST’ thing is worth bringing up in another topic as I am sure it’ll fire a good few people up.

It appears to be yet another ‘safety’ course that will need renewing every four years!
