The questions your asking are both very technical and rather complicated to answer.

The knowledge to answer them is hard won over many years in the business.

I’m sure this forum looks like a nice cheap way of getting your answers, but I think very few experienced rov guys will be keen to share that hard won knowledge with you over an open forum. Those that are willing to share are more than likely not experienced enough to give you a correct answer.

I’d suggest you maybe look at employing a rov consultant for a couple of days to get reasonable answers.

    Oliver,
The answers to your questions hold many variables.ROV companies make use of this information to bid for contracts and I’m sure they would not wish them to be generally known to all and sundry.

It appears from your post ( and if I’m wrong I apologize ) that you may be trying to put a price together for a project and do not have the required skills and knowledge to do so.

If that is the case you should do what every other company does and hires professional people to help you and not try to glean info from here with which to make money off the backs of people who won their knowledge the hard way.

So they can, presumably, afford to pay a couple of days day rate to hire an "ROV Consultant" then?

I am available for this onerous duty if required 8)

    Blimey 😯
With all those years experience affiliated with the Oil and gas Industry and not a single expert in their office on ROV’s 😕
My advise is go to an agency and get a consultant.

Lately my company has had a lot of dealings with these guys. If you are looking for project support you could do a lot worse.

    Offshore Marine Management
    Colston Tower
    Colston Street
    Bristol
    BS1 4UB
    England
    United Kingdom

They also have access to vessels and ROV’s

Reading through your post it would appear that you need a lot of information and would need professional consultation to find out everything you need.

Believe its a cut and paste from the Company Website that the op works for.

If it is that company why dont they just point the questions to Sonsub. They must have had a tie with them at some point to be using a picture of an Innovator on the website.
