Whoever offered you this must be kidding 😯

What company are you thinking of working for?

You should be looking at £180 minimum on a day rate obviously on salary things will be different.

    Good Luck

    😉

    Coogan,

Name and shame the company offering $100 a day so we all know to avoid this company! As K2 says, you should be looking for £180-200 a day as a trainee from the day you leave home till the day you return with all flights etc. paid for by the company.

It must be Fugro Middle East as they have offered me the same few days ago.
12000 US$ per annum + 100 US per day to be exact.
Why don’t any suicide bomber blow them apart.

I recently started out of Morgan City, La. as a trainee and was offered $245 a day US. Dollars plus full benies after 90. They paid for Safe Gulf, Certs, TWIC, everything. I won’t say the company because I don’t know their policy on such things yet, but they have treated me awesome so far.

I am out on my first hitch as I write this, been here two weeks and have two more to go. I love it. It’s great. I have gotten training on the all the maintenance, running the winch, the control board, and an hour stick time, the supervisor is terrific in helping me learn everything I can – and I’m getting fat at the galley.

    All’s well here.

The reason you need 3 on a team must be 1 to fly, 1 to make sure the 3rd person does not eat to much in the galley

I am offered the same rate as mentioned by NewRov1 at the same place, Dubai. I will not name the company as people are intelligent enough to figure it out.

You mean in Abu Dhabi (Mussafa), not Dubai. I also wont mention any name/s to protect the guilty party (no pun intended- party-party chief as in survey as in…)

So far I have seen 3 different salaries and day rates for these trainee posts. Is this a normal practice?

There is no defined rate for anybody. Therefore on a worldwide basis rates will differ.

Sorry I meant 3 different rates from the same firm for the same trainee posts at the same location.
