I have tried several times to apply on their website. The form does not want to attach my documents. It would be nice if someone could provide a proper email address for the ROV Ops manager in Aberdeen and Houston offices.

The site isnt the clearest of sites to apply with is it.

Can send ya round in circles at times.

Email contact would be much better.

I made contact with their HR folk, who tell me their IT guys are looking into it. Was advised that its a glitch and to persevere. Worked for me on the 2nd attempt 😀

    Associate ROV PT?

A posh name….. You could be correct… companies are always looking for new way to expand the range of pay grades. I’m not sure that ‘Associate’ will catch on though.

    Hi Guys.

Also applied online for this position.

Has anyone had any feedback yet as to whether they will be
    getting an interview?

Also does any one have any info on how subsea work with there trainees?
Is there an initial period in the workshop? Do the have a training school? etc.

I can’t remember exactly but has the closing date even passed yet? I don’t think anyone would be getting interview information till after that.

    That’s what I thought.

But i did see a post on ROV world last week from a guy saying he had an interview on Monday there and was looking for advice.

The post has since been deleted but it was there.

Was just checking if anyone else had heard anything.

Hopefully they will be taking on a decent amount of guys.

I don’t know but i have heard Subsea 7 are a good firm to
get in with when you are starting out in the industry?

2 years back worked with a South African Trainee. He was on a 108 US$ dayrate, they were withholding 20% of that for tax, so he was on roughly 86 US$ per day. He was not a happy chap, but nobody forced him to sign.

It might be tempting to try and sell yourself cheap to get a foot in industry, but your not doing yourself a favour or the guys you work with. Do your research.

Times have changed, dozens of lads from Ghana have been employed recently…. Subsea 7 are always looking for ROV folks, as long as you fit the criteria.
