UK North Sea – Elgin Platform – Exclusion zone imposed
This is how the BBC just reported it on the TV. I guess they are not aware that a 500m exclusion zones exists anyway.
The leak on the Elgin PUQ platform, about 150 miles (240km) off the coast of Aberdeen, led to the withdrawal of all 238 workers.
It seems that some worker have also been evacuated by Shell from a couple of other platforms due to the gas leak and safety concerns.
