    Does it ever get your blood busy when in this day and age you still get e-mails specifically targetting Americans for jobs in EG or where-ever? I mean we all submit CVs to agencies, with all our contact details and even our contact addresses. Why bother me when you require Americans? Maybe they should group CVs into groups, Yankees and Everyone else. 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

    I guess that if the office types in agencies knew how to use or construct a database they’d be over qualified!

    I’m regularly sent jobs where I’ve specifically stated that I’m not interested or not qualified for the region i.e. West Africa and Norway specifically.

    Additionally I’ve been asked to join an "urgent" job in Europe next morning when it’s early evening here in Oz. Very tempted to ask if agencies have Google Earth, an atlas or any concept of geography at all! Sorry but my Tardis is in for repairs at the moment!

    It certainly does! A couple of years ago EU or British passport holders only…. then they got desperate. What was up with that I’ve never found out.
