Hi, If you are wanting to clean marine growth like barnacles (harder stuff) 2000 psi won’t make the grade. It will clean soft growth but hard stuff like barnacles, oysters and coral look towards 5000psi. I was on a job last year and had to clean welds for inspection and we used a deck mounted system at between 8000 and 10000psi. The nozzle tip has to still be very close to the site at this pressure like between 100mm and closer.
So if you are going to go the Sub Atlantic systems the high the pressure the better 520bar unit is nice and I have used it before.
I have also done a few jobs in the past like clean platforms and the underside of FPSO with a hard rotating brush system which works great at removing bulk amounts of marine growth.
