After working ROVs for the last 7yrs, I am seriously thinking of a career change to Client Rep for ROV/Diving operations. However, I am not totally convinced that there is great demand for client reps, even job posting for the positions is virtually not there. Through internet search I see only a single training establishment in Singapore doing client rep courses, whether its worth the money is another issue, anybody out there with some advice for me, maybe even have gone through the course? What companies are utilising client reps mostly so I can start approaching them?

You will find very little volunteered or posted on client rep work anywhere in the world. It’s a bit of a closed shop and often functions on word of mouth.

As an aside, unless you were a diver it is unlikely you will be accepted on any diving jobs as a rep. That would limit you to ROV repping jobs only. Many construction jobs (as you will be aware) have mix of both, so you could find it quite limiting on the work front.

Same as going freelancing through an Agent .
You should be even more experienced than Joe average to be a Client Rep ……………. Like most JOBS.
Nothing worse than a "Client Rep" who dosen’t know what he’s talking about and stirring the teacup ! …………… Lowers moral , causes tension and tends to be removed after a couple of weeks.
    You’ll be Primeminister next 😀
    Brown ? 😆
