As an Australian do I need to get a VISA to work in German waters? Do I need a VISA to work in all EU nation waters?
Any advice appreciated!
Also I heard there is no TAX for working offshore in the EU and Northsea is this correct?
As far as I am aware you do not need a Visa to work offshore in the UK Sector as long as the work is outside the 12 mile limit and you have a letter of invitation from the company that will employ you. I have no idea about Germany or other EU countries.
You heard incorrectly about tax for the North Sea. Tax applies to the UK, Dutch, Danish and Norwegian sectors. Probably the same for Germany but not sure about that.
