The computers have backup power (UPS), but it’s usually just enough to get everything shut down properly. As for the system itself, that’d be a negative. It’d take a helluva lot of batteries to pump out 480 volts at 200 plus amps!
Its not practically impossible to have a battery back up system for ROVs, just might be loads and loads of batteries. I am not so sure about 200A plus current draw, never worked on a system that draws that much. The thing is with the rig power plus a motor generator things are usually well covered.

ROV’s don’t have battery back up systems. Manned submersibles do…usually for life support, coms, and to power the scrubber blower (fan).
If an ROV loses power you are recovering a dead fish…or calling the divers with your tail between you legs 😆
