Until the current recession finishes there is very little point in doing any extra training unless you can guarantee employment after your course .
There are thousands of experienced Rov personnel with 10 – 15 years in the industry and they are unable to find employment so a trainee has got little chance with or without any extra certs plus its Not a mandatory requirement to gain employment into the Rov industry .
Getting your survival course and medical is a mandatory requirement as for when this current recession will end until the price of oil is over $75 USD which I think will be March / April next year even then don’t expect a flood of trainee requirements .
