    Hi guys,

    I am a motor mechanic (23) and went for an interview today at an ROV company as a "Field Service Engineer" i have been given an idea of a starting basic wage AND what a fully trained person would hope to get.

    Just wondering if you could advice me on what is the going rate, i’m from Aberdeen, Scotland.

    What sort of Service Tech with what company?

    Have a quick scan at the pay rates section on here that will give you the broadest view of what the rates are. They do however seem to be changing all of the time at the moment normally in an upward direction which is nice 🙂

    Is it schilling perhaps?

    The support for the Acergy ACV’s possibly?
    a good arse kicker of a post

    Still if it is, it will be a good start in the industry with plenty of training

    Some trainee positions are paying well these days.
