Hey, first post on here! Im looking to leave my existing job as an electrician, to hopefully become an rov pilot. I have typed in rov trainee pilot jobs, into google and job websites, but not much appears. Im currently based in scotland. Any help would be appreciative, even company names which i should send my cv. Thanks

Please read through the posts in these forums, especially the Rookie Section, where 99% of your questions have already been asked.

You will find that at present there is a shortage of EXPERIENCED ROV people (this will ease towards the end of the year during Winter when demand drops significantly). There are very few Trainee positions available at present.

Even those that do, you with find a couple of thousand people applying for each position so odds are not good.
