Anyone work or worked for Fugro ROVtech??

Hi all just wondering what sort of company it is and what they like to work for? Has anyone been taken on by them as a trainee? What is there trainning centre like? Cheers for any replies

Yes, I work with Fugro-Rovtech, I’m not staff, but work only for them these days in the Inspection department.

As far as the ROV work goes, they do mainly inspection work on the Highland Eagle, do some RIG/platform based work around the place and also do more construction based work on the other vessels (Fugro Saltire, Skandi Carla and Skandi Inspector).

The training side of things, they do some in-house stuff and then send people to Fort William to the training school there…correct me if I’m wrong anyone, as I’m not 100% sure about the training plans for the ROV guys.

In general good bunch of blokes to work with.

As Gina said, they now just send their guys to Fort William and then offshore.

They have been taking on 8 trainees every 2 months for the last couple of years. I take it you have applied or have been accepted?
