    1) Has anyone done work offshore Sakhalin Islands and if so what are the conditions like?

    2) Had an opportunity to go out there but been warned about traveling and saftey.

This is based on the the Doo Sung SemiSub.

There is also a Triton XL up there. My concern is getting there, some say there is a train trip that takes 9hrs, and who knows what thats like.
Well one way to find out.

Just trying to figure out if anyone has worked out there in those conditions.

The thieving swine … less than half of the going Aussie rate. To no doubt live on bortsch and kim chi. I wouldn’t get out of bed for that nonsense.

No wonder they’re working outside of Oz again. 🙄

If you were offered 645USD and are non-australian then that is an average rate for a P/T. I’m sure you could get it up to 700.
TMT are great to work for (always pay on time, nice crew) and the Nomads are a pice of piss to fly and fix. Most likely a Drill Support job.

Sakhalin itself is fairly dangerous but as long as you follow the golden rules already stated, you can’t go wrong.
