It’s a real shit’ole of a rig. I spend a week on there last year, it was a real dump, thankfully it was only a week. I was supposed to go to Sakahalin but got something else sorted out instead.
It’s a Korean government owned rig and the Kprean company men on board have a real attitue problem.
It was not unknown for the OIM ot be out working on deck I was informed by someone who spend 3 months on there.
It took 3 months to complete a single well from Spuding to well completions.
A dangerous rig by all accounts, i was told. The crew were from Malaysia, Indonesia etc. Lots of boozing I was told, pretty dangerous rig. I heard some scasrey stories about the BOP too. Would never set foot on it again.
