    Hi All,
Could someone confirm how long a FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training) last. I’ve heard 2-years and 4-years.
    Also, medicals. For a 48-year old, 2-years?
    Thanks in advance.
    Be careful out there!

    Cheers

4 years for the FOET and 2 years for the medical.

With regards to FOET, I understand the requirement to be for refresher training every four years HOWEVER the employer dictates the more frequent two or three years.

UKOOA (UKOG) requirement is every two years below age of fifty and annually thereafter.

I’ve just done the medical two weeks ago (in Oz) and asked the question directly of the doctor.

UK medical lasts for 2 years, irrespective of age (since 2007). However, at the doctors discretion this may be shorter.
