for you guys in the know… in the GOM

I have a question for you guys who have been in this game a while . I worked for Oceaneering as a tech/pilot for about a year . I learned a lot but I struggled since I did not have a strong MT background,,this was about 4 years ago .

I am coming back down to the Gulf to look for work . I have an AB Unlimited and 100 ton..The AB positions are paying around 350 a day give or take . Pretty much guaranteed there is a job waiting . I would not mind getting back in ROV scene but I don’t have the energy to apply for positions in futility…so is it dead or picking up in GOM ? Just don’t want to get run around if I don’t have to ….

If that is the case and ROV work is available any companies seem to be the up and coming players ?

Please …I am too old for any ball busting..I just want to see if anybody has any constructive comments….
