Anyone got a good brand name for a grease that can be used at depth – good for rotating parts; I only know of it by the nickname "pink grease" and I never looked at the COSHH…

    Not much to go on……

It’s used on the moving parts of the ROTV from MacArtney.

There’s also a white grease which I once sprayed on a chain, but I can’t remember the name.

And suddenly I remember it: Lithium grease 😀

    Hi
As protection for Seawater`s corrosion Aquashield/Aqualube is the best product, but for moving part or steel umbilical I will say Lithium grease is better .

"pink" grease was MS33, but you shouldn’t use it now, as it goes hard in seawater. Used to be used on O rings, now its MS111 thats used which is clear.

Aquashield (formerly known as Aqualube) is sh*t hot for underwater stuff, but ONLY if it is powered. You stick it in something and expect it to move by hand forget it, it really does stick like sh*t!
