    Is there anyone on this forum who knows of this book, and can tell me if it is worth buying.

    It is expencive but I wonder if it is uptodate?

    Don’t waste your money. I got a copy when I did an ROV course, never used it and sold it on eBay. You’ll probably be able to pick up an e-copy on your offshore travels.

    Try and get hold of a copy of Oceaneerings course. Miles better.

    No, it is not worth the money, go and find a copy of it on the Internet, there was a 200 odd Meg PDF scan of it doing the rounds a while back.

    It has SOME useful info, but not enough to justify its expense.

    Well i wish someone would put up the link for the pdf ,as i cant find it for love nor money ,found plenty other rov vids on my space like some quite good ones ,the triton xls one and the mrv one some mad diver jumping on and off a magnum to get to his job ,which did look a bit precareous to say the least as his feet were a bit to close to the verts for my liking …heath and saftey and all that !!!!

    It wasn’t on a website it was posted on one of the Newsgroups, it might be on one of those filesharing or torrent sites.

    More people should be posting offshore OOPS videos on You Tube 🙂
