The owner of VideoRay is looking for idea’s on what to do with all of the Seabotix ROV’s that have been traded in on the Upgrade Program. You can see the most recent trade ins here "http://www.rovinfo.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=551&p=1048&sid=204b8b6204331b72090a8de834a7971b#p1048

    Desk lamps?

Edit: This was only meant as a joke. I, we, have nothing against any ROV manufacturer.

    Dear Rov World,
I have been following this series of posts and I found it very informative. I was wondering though if anyone had any experience with ROV Builders (Eprons ROV), especially in regards to use or reliabilty of their products. Any comments from current users would be really kindly received.

    Cheers SOSSI

    SOSSI,

You may want to start a new thread for this vehicle / topic. Maybe call it home builds in the http://www.rovworld.com/forum-15.html thread. Have a look through there first.

You’d be luck if you could get it too fly even once 😆

What was it…? A couple of minutes at 15 ft.??? Something like that.

    Boro,

If you have a limited budget you are better off going with someone who can do the inspection rather than purchasing a system, it’ll be a lot cheaper.

    Chief,

Video Ray dealer in Poland offered me "economy" Scout for 10k $ without taxes, so I am looking for other options near or below this amount, so I don’t know maybe my budget is not so "small" 🙂

I am just curious what can I buy and what could be the best solutions.

    Boro,
Deep Trekker ROVs are affordable, small, completely portable (battery powered), and extremely robust. Tank inspection is one of the best tasks for the DTG2 ROV, here’s an example video: https://youtu.be/NnMsUqIx4vc
Let me know if you have any questions, or you can check out our website: https://www.deeptrekker.com/dtg2/
