Most companies use Sub Engineer or Senior Pilot Tech, what a strange post, have you actually ever been offshore with an ROV system?

Once again someone has posted a table of rates & conditions without including the name of the company involved. Hard facts are what we need to challenge our ‘out of touch’ HR Depts & Ops Managers. We all know that they talk to each other anyway at their regular IMCA meetings in order to keep the rates in check.

Ray usually seems to be well informed so maybe he’s not far wide of the mark when he says it’s ISS (can anybody confirm ?) and if this is the case then I’m sure David Rhodes will be inundated with CVs particularly from some very unhappy SS7 personnel. I can envisage the tumbleweed rolling through the Viking in the near future. 😆

You forgot to mention, 12 days offshore pay gauranteed per month, also 10-12 days offshore pay per month if ill or injured, but after 28 days the uplift is 5% per day extra, + 5% bi-annual bonus on gross pay, if working in Norway the extra noggie tax above uk covered.
