    Subsea 7 is a seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry worldwide. And because of our continuous growth, we have several opportunities for ROV Supervisors to work in the GOM.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    The ROV Supervisor has the primary responsibility for the Health, Safety and welfare of the offshore personnel, implementation and monitoring of the Subsea 7 safety management system, offshore ROV system resource management and management of work execution.

    Please note these are NOT trainee/associate roles and therefore applicants without necessary industry work experience and flying time will not be considered

    OPERATIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Day to day supervision of the Subsea 7 ROV resources operating on work site. When acting as the senior Subsea 7 representative offshore, maintaining communications with the Client’s Offshore Representative, vessel/Installation management and onshore management. Conducting all ROV project briefings with the Client’s Representative, vessel/installation Master/OIM, Dive Superintendent, ROV personnel so that all concerned understand the purpose of the operation, and the proposed method of achieving its completion. Ensuring that all equipment and stores used by the operations team are in a condition satisfactory in performance, maintenance and calibration necessary to carry out the operation. He has the right to terminate the operation if he considers that a malfunction of any part of the ROV system would prejudice the safety and/or satisfactory completion of the operation. When necessary giving instructions to vessel bridge personnel for the operational requirements of the vessel in support of the ROV operation. Ensuring that the daily reporting to onshore management is undertaken. Collating the necessary information attaining to the project and obtaining approval by customer’s representative where required.

    EUCATION REQUIRED
    Water Survival, Offshore Medical, SafeGulf and TWIC

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    Preferably 7 years offshore experience in a relevant environment, 4 of which should be in the position of ROV Submersible/Senior Submersible Technician. As per Subsea 7 competence assurance system covering requirements of IMCA C001 Competence Guideline & Competence Tables and IMCA R002 – Entry Level Requirements for ROV Personnel. Experience working within the industry. Perry XLS / XLX ROV System Knowledge. Technical Background with Current Certificates. Potential Candidates must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the USA on a permanent basis without end.

    LOCATION
    Offshore GOM. Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the USA on a full time permanent basis.
