1.b) DOF SUBSEA USA AWARDED BOP RECOVERY OPERATIONS CONTRACT IN INDIA
DOF Subsea USA has been awarded a contract by Boots & Coots, Inc. for the provision of DP II
construction vessel for a BOP recovery operation in the Bay of Bengal, India.
DOF Subsea will be utilizing the Company’s vessel MV Geoholm outfitted with 2 XLS workclass
ROVs, survey and subsea intervention services to assist the drill rig in regaining access to
the well via the BOP. The intention is to safely plug and abandon the well before recovering the
BOP. Marco Sclocchi, President of DOF Subsea USA, states, “This is a significant win for the DOF
Group ensuring asset utilization and exposure of DOF subsea vessels to new clients in a rapidly
growing region. It is especially important for DOF Subsea USA which will be responsible for the
management of the vessel from Houston, thereby facilitating the expansion of its local expertise
in project management, vessel operation and subsea intervention to fulfil the project
    requirement.”
The DOF Subsea Group is a specialist subsea service business that provides subsea
construction, engineering, IRM, ROV and survey services to the world’s major subsea markets.
The Company owns state of the art equipment including 18 construction support vessels, 24
ROVs, 1 AUV and 11 diving spreads. The enables DOF Subsea to offer differentiated positions
with its clients and work in long term relationships, which enhance service delivery and reduces
    overall risk.
In support of its growing global business, an extensive new build programme is currently
underway with 8 new vessels and -10 new Triton XLX ROVs schedules for delivery during 2010/2011.

Its old fun. Just like everyone else has!

But, okay, since you know best and I know nothing.. Its not like I have been working for DOF Subsea as an ROV pilot for 3 years.. 🙄

Nobody is saying anyone knows best or others know nothing. Equally working as a PT for a few years does not mean you know too much about a company’s inner workings or long term plans either.

How about we stop looking to knock information provided in good faith by others or trying to bait people to get a bite out of them.. do that in the coffee shack!
