seems SS7 greed madness is all enveloping as it appears that many of it phillupino workers are less than impressed by the treatment they have received …according to various contacts within SS7 and some Phillipino seamen i have spoken to , the great adventure in SS7 has been ending in tears as many Phillipino workers have not been paid for days in transit or waiting in hotels in Aberdeen for deployment and other issues. Some were sent to GOM and paid even less than Uk contract rate ,and that extra deductions were taken when payed , feedback in manila is that many are telling mates to boycott SS7…….If all true its amazing as it takes a lot to piss of a Phillipino !!!!!
also appears that BP and some clients were not happy about it so it may have backfired bigtime for SS7.
but the exodus of British quality offshore staff at SS7 is still going on with some very experienced good guys leaving recently they were not made redundant but all walked in frustration, these guys are real assets they just had enough of the bullshit it seems .
