Well, I believe you must come forward with some good reasons why we should work for you instead of the other hundreds of agencies and operators around.

Ex: pay, schedule, client, type of work, location, your agency’s advantage compared to the rest of the bunch etc.

I think that any experienced personell are leluctant to jump on the first offer today…

    Here Here Lost Boy

Dan is a respected & trusted source of work for experienced guys.

Slayer….suggest you check a little before you post such comments. Please tell us all if other agencies give such a grand amount of information when they post for jobs, be it here or on their www or direct email to your computer.

All Dan asks is…..if interested, get in touch and I am 100% sure he will answer your questions.

    Keep safe

And just to add a penney for thought. Anyone in this industry who is “Experienced” would already know who Dan/WorkOcean is. There are only a few agencies/people that have been and will continue to be here for years. You may never work with all of them, but you will know them by name and reputation. The other “Hundreds of Agencies” will come and go like the people that they attract. They will be used by the industry like grave diggers to bring enough bits to fill a seat when no “REAL” professionals can be found. Sadly but true, yet how can an agency know if you are “GOOD” enough to be an asset to the guys you are going to work with if they don’t even know the indusrty that you work in. But that a story for another section. To end this quickly, its a SMALL industry and everyone knows everyone in one way or another at the core. Ask around..

    Take Care all, Garrett

    Dan and his operation.

Without wanting to create a Dan/WorkOcean appreciation society 🙄

I have worked with him a few time over the years. He is good to his word.
I had a delay in pay (only once) but you tell me which company has NEVER cocked pay up at some point. The problem was sorted and I received payment. Other than that, numerous jobs later, I would still work with Dan, but not today as I am busy 😉

    What more can I say?

One point that Slayer made that was pertinent was the need for more information about the work on offer.

At least I managed to get a discution startet…

I know Dan and his company, but I was not just thinking about my self here, there are many people having a look inside this forum just to see if something interesting comes up. I do have a comfortable job as permanent employed, and are just not intersted in dayrating at the moment.

By the way, check the post by Robbo, giving at least some more info about the jobs…

The agencies I have worked through this year are a couple of the biggest in the UK and they both tended not to have all of the job details when they are looking for people.

I kind of reckon Dan’s advert should be enough to wet your appitite. I mean I have just come onto a job and did not even know what vehicles it was till I got here. Note to self if they do not tell you then they are rubbish…

Well done slayer for at least trying to improve the information we as agency workers recieve.
