Hello,

I am really excited to start a career in the field of ROVs. I’m a fresh graduate Electronics Engineer, Egyptian national.
I am ready to work almost anywhere in the world.
I had lots of experience working on electronics/microcontroller/interfacing projects, PLCs & motor control so I’m not the kind of guy who can solve an equation but doesn’t know how to handle a screwdriver.

I am currently working at Orange Business Services (France Telecom group). My English is fluent (oral & written).

Well sherbo as you are an educated person you would have read all the comments on this site and come to the conclusion, by yourself, that this is not the recruitment page of the worlds leading ROV companies. This site is help and guide, especially people new to the industry and even those who have problems in navigating round this site.

Here is a good tip: on the left hand side of this page is a link to forums, click on that and then scroll down and select what you want. There is a whole heap of information.

If you are still under the impression that any Personnel Manager will PM you with a job offer you are going to be very disappointed. It takes sheer bloody mindness and persistance to get a start as a trainee. Do your research first.

SGB, Thanks and I do appreciate your honest reply. Actually I’m trying all kinds of different paths, I applied online & sent some e-mails to 5 or 6 companies, but I didn’t get any replies so far.

Do you think it would be appropriate (and effective) if I called the companies and simply asked for a job ?

To SGB… it says this section is advertising the fact you are available for work, and to use this area for that purpose…. Well…. the guy who started this topic seems to have done exactly that, listed his experiance etc and all he got was you NONE helpful negative as usual reply!

Why dont you give him some real advice other that "If you look at the side of this page, you’ll find a whole heep of information".

He obviously did that, and, is how he got to post this topic, so, know all about nothing…. What is a man/Woman supposed to use this area for???
