    Hi

    Im off to Singapore for a few days soon.Can someone recommend
    a nice hotel that is not too pricey and not too far from the local nightlife…

    I use Lloyd Inn, about 300 hundred meters from Hotel Phoenix on Orchard Road. Clean, secure, family small hotel. 80 Singapore dollars a night. can book on line http://www.lloydinn.com.

    You could try the V.I.P 🙂
    It’s not exactly in the centre but it don’t take that long to get there by taxi and is cheap 🙂

    The Grand Mecure in marine parade is a nice hotel and relatively cheap. 3/4 of the way to town from the airport. Nice escape and there is pretty good night life around that area.
