    SEATECHS LIMITED – UPDATED REQUIREMENTS JULY/AUG ’08

    REF: ST08-198 – ELECTRICAL TRENCHER TECHNICIAN
    Start Date: 28th July 2008
    Project: Kittiwake, Heavy Construction Job
    Mobilising: Teesside
    Location: Project is carried out in UK Waters – however vessel will need to run in and out of Norway to offload chains.
    Certification: UKOOA Medical & Survival as a minimum
    Duration: 4-6 weeks.

    REF: ST08-199 – MECHANICAL PLOUGH TECHNICIAN
    Start Date: 7th August 2008
    Project: Acergy Volund
    Mobilising: Teesside
    Location: Norwegian Sector
    Spread: VMP Pipeline Plough and WR1 Workclass ROV
    Certification: Norwegian Medical & Survival as a minimum
    Duration: 6-8 weeks

    Ideal candidate will be experienced with large pipeline ploughs (VMP, AMP, APP, BFP, PL1, PL2)

    Duration: 4 weeks approx

    Ideal candidate will be experienced with large Tractors (T1, T2, T3/Eureka).

    Start Date: 7th August 2008

    Location: Norwegian Sector
    Spread: VMP Pipeline Plough and WR1 Workclass ROV
    Certification: Norwegian Medical & Survival as a minimum
    Duration: 6-8 weeks

    Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years Supervisory experience and experienced with Bridge Operations. The Shift Superintendent is the 2nd in command from the Offshore Manager and is in control of running the shift from the bridge, liaising with the ROV crew, Deck Supervisor, Plough Crew and Vessel crew. The ideal candidate will have experience with Plough Operations (Bridge) or have been part of a Plough Team and moved to Bridge Operations.

    Seatechs are currently sourcing experienced offshore technicians of various biases for wind farm projects in the UK and continental waters. Ideal candidates will have power cable, carousel and tensioner experience and worked with towed ploughs and jetting trenchers.
