ROV/Survey Supervisor
Location: Brazil (aboard a vessel)
Job Type: 1099-Contractor (30/30 rotation)
Job Responsibilities:
Oversight of the ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) and Survey Contractors
Perform Quality Assessment (QA) at all stages of the Operations and monitor the relevance of the Contractor’s procedures and work instructions and the adherence to them
Verify that correct positioning procedures are carried out, ensuring the safety of personnel and integrity of the company’s assets
Verify the checks on all positioning systems used and monitor the correct functioning of the positioning equipment, paying particular attention to records and their annotation
Verify that ROV system is functioning properly
Checking and signing off any final coordinates issued from the vessel
Verify and sign off on daily time ticket
HSE is regarded as extremely important for all operations
One of the Survey Supervisor’s main tasks is to monitor the QA procedures and the successful operation of the contract. This requires that good working relations be established with the Survey Team, ROV Team, and Vessel Personnel for a successful operation.
Requirements:
ROV experience desired
Survey or acoustic positioning background a plus
