Here is a quick question for those tax hounds out there.
I work in the North Sea, I get paid in UK pounds and it goes directly into a UK account, I hold a UK passport……BUT I live in South Africa now.
    Taxmans nightmare…………!!
Do I pay Tax in SA or not?
    Any ideas? 😯

Are you paying tax down in South Africa? There is a double tax agreement between UK and South Africa.

This means if you pay tax in one country you do not have to pay it another. If you do not pay in S Africa you will have to pay in UK or vice versa.

Details can be found on http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/international/southafrica-index.htm
