Does anyone have any info or thoughts on upcoming projects either in the UK or worldwide?

Would be interesting to know if anyone has heard anything on the grapevine, as I keep hearing that work is due to pick up again soon, but with no definite dates.

Hope to hear some positive feedback soon!

    Hi Aphrodite

Here’s what I’ve been telling my cohorts : Since it’s been so busy the last couple years the pile of "Underwater Contractor", "Ocean Systems", "Offshore Engineer" etc mags have grown and remain unread in the rack by the flushing throne — just haven’t been able to get around to catching up on the reading with all the work — now is the time to peruse. Start with issues that will really make life look rosy (you don’t have to go too far back).
    OIL TO HIT $200/BARREL
    RIG DEMAND INCREASE THROUGH 2020
9 % GROWTH DESPITE OVER 300% GROWTH IN PRICE
There. Isn’t life better now? We can go back to pretending the phone will soon be ringing with lots of proposals at decent rates for qualified personnel. Fairy tales have always provided a nice buffer from reality for me.
