It came to our attention last Thursday that some lovely, kind person had swiped our advert copy and used it on other websites such as http://www.seadiscovery.com to advertise ROV and other Maris Subsea vacancies but with fake contact details;

PLEASE NOTE that these people are in NO WAY affiliated or related to ANY of the Global Energy Group companies – and in fact ANY company at all (they seem to have hijacked other adverts)
If you Google the email domain @sbluecou.com it has been used in multiple Fake Lottery/Advance Fee ‘419’ scams.
If you access ANY job advert with these details PLEASE DO NOT phone the telephone number or attempt to apply via email or direct. This is an attempt to obtain your personal details. Although the number looks like a legit UK number dialling it leads to a non-UK dialtone. The person who brought this to our attention actually managed to get someone at the other end who then rushed him off the phone.
On Thursday Maris Subsea contacted the publishers of http://www.seadiscovery.com and got them to remove all of the advertised jobs from this ‘company’ on ALL of their websites but they will appear elsewhere so forewarned is forearmed!
Please pass this information on to anyone you know who would be looking at Marine/ROV/Subsea/Survey/Inspection related jobs INCLUDING Marine Crew.
