IMCA reports survey data showed less ROV personnel working in Europe and Africa in 2009 compared to a year earlier.
Contractor body compiles data on ROV personnel employment in February and August each year.
Numbers for February 2008 and 2009 were same at 3,350, but in August 2009 figure was 3,544 down by 300 from 2008.
