Position – Staff – onshore
Location – Hartlepool, NE England
This role provides support for project loadout activities at Hartlepool and includes providing front end tender support.
Role:
1. Assume the focal point role for Hartlepool loadout activities.
2. Be responsible for planning loadout operations including interface with port authorities.
3. Maintain close working relationships with Project and Manufacturing personnel to ensure focus on schedule and workscopes.
4. Interface with manufacturing personnel to ensure a seamless handover is maintained.
5. Manage loadout risk mitigation and lead JSA’s and Risk Assessments for loadout operations.
6. Assume responsibility for customer/client and vessel interfaces during loadout planning, scheduling and loadout operations
7. Assume responsibility for 3rd party interfaces such as labour agencies and equipment rental suppliers
8. Be the responsible person for managing customer driven loadout sequences
9. Work with Service personnel to develop project specific detailed loadout procedures.
10. Support product terminations and testing as per specifications and contractual agreement.
11. Develop an understanding of umbilical & cable manufacturing process to support the role.
12. Comply with the company’s health and safety policy. Comply with the local policies of customers, which apply to each site visited. Ensure that all work completed is carried out with safety as a priority.
13. Support the Company initiatives to gain and retain ISO 9001 & 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations. Staff is required to be aware of the Standards and ensure they operate to them.
14. In addition to these duties employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably expected.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
Hold a Technical Qualification in a Mechanical discipline or similar.
Experience with Cables and Umbilicals in a manufacturing and/or handling capacity would be advantageous but not mandatory.
Commercial experience including costs control management is essential.
Strong leadership in Quality and Safety management is required.
Experience with quayside and/or heavy lifting would be an advantageous.
