We wish to recruit a Singapore based Technical Support Engineer to expand our Asia Pacific operations.
The role
• First point of contact for Asia Pacific client base to facilitate queries on all SMD manufactured equipment
• Provide office based technical support backed up by SMD head office in UK
• Assist with the supply of local stock holding to clients
• Process any service items returned by the regional client base
• Attend client locations in the Asia Pacific region and provide hands-on technical support when required
• Support the sales process in Asia Pacific by providing technical advice in client meetings and tender preparations
• Facilitate any local training requirement to assist the SMD training team
• Assist with the management of SMD Offshore Support activities in the Asia Pacific region
