Hello All,

I have just started a technical blog for ROV’s to share some of my knowledge as there are only 4-5 topics in blog right now reg OTDR,FOCAL and protocols but i will keep posting regularly something new visit the blog at

and if anyone needs information regarding a particular topic please let me know i will try to help.

People are more than welcome to be a contributor for this blog and share Technical knowledge.

May I suggest you add to the testing fibre optics subject, how to test losses using an optical source and a meter, not many people are going to have an OTDR.

Hello Ray,

Thanks for advice mate,I will try to post it by the end of the day,Yeah i agree most of the people are not aware how to use a power meter properly and calculate loss in a system and even what they are suppose to see in terms of reading.
I will post something new everyday
