    Was sailing to a jobsite in Bombay High South and saw the strangest thing… There were patches of bioluminesence that worked in conjuction with each other! What I mean is, is these 5 to 10m patches of light near the surface would "turn on" all at once, stay lit for a few seconds and then extinguish ALL AT THE SAME TIME!! And there were dozens of these patches. Strangest thing I ever witnessed with the little critters

    That is pretty cool.

    Last month were were in the Black Sea and there were mats of polychaetes near the surface swimming around our barge at night. About as long as your pointer finger with a kind of head on the leading end.

    Then in the day time they were near the bottom (saw them all over during dives)

    Amazing that there is still something alive Mumbai High, they literally throw everything over the wall. Bit disappointing, their beach!
